Ice Age 2

Hmm, let me give u an idea of wat ppl said about e movie...

"WAAA, VERY NICE!!!"

"MUST-WATCHED ANIMATION MOVIE OF THE YEAR"

"THE SHOW IS DAMN FUNNY! LOVE IT!"

"VERY VERY GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"BETTER THAN THE 1ST ONE A THOUSAND TIMES!!!"



But, but but but but but but...

Once again, i do not like it... I did not like the 1st one in the theatre, but grew to accept it after watching at home wif e vcd (expectations lowered)...

I remembered i came out of the theatre (Ice Age 1), cursing... And sayin tt its a bad movie (ignore e animations, modelling)...

But when i watched it at home, a few times actually... I thot it wasnt as bad as i remembered...

I kept an open mind about tis one... Coz everyone kept telling me i must watch it, its very nice etc... Open mind, open heart...

I sat thru e movie, yawning... I even came out of the theatre wif a yawn, and my fren laughed... I tried to laugh at the jokes, even those small silly insignificant ones... But then, i couldnt... It simply wAsnt funny enuff... In fact, i think my fren had an even harder time, coz i hardly hear her laugh at all...

The plot is even simpler than the prev... In fact, there is no story at all... Its jus a journey from one end of e place to e other to escape a disaster... And then e mammoth found his new gf after letting go of the past (death of his wife n kid)... Tts all...

Even their love wasnt convincing at all... Hmmm... Perhaps u cant expect a mammoth to love proper eh?

There wasnt any moment of spur, i didnt feel anything, no tears, no smiles, no nothing... Too flat... So i thot i was a freak again, coz e audience were laughing at things tt i didnt noe how to even giggle...

But i realised my fren felt e same way...

I told her the movie isnt even up to standards, let alone expectations... With so much advertising, it didnt live up to it fame... Too commercialised, too cashed in on th profits...

In the end, we concluded tat Ice Age 2 is more for kids... Yea...

But i more like concluded tat its a guy's movie... I am sure guys would enjoy e movie and e jokes...

No matter i am sure its going to be an excellent animation for e rest of u... I am sure you would enjoy it alot... Hmm, so go watch it... Just not for me... =)

I was one of e few who dislike the 1st one, but watching the second one kinda reminded me y i dislike e 1st... But i got a feeling i am not one of e few tis time round...

GO WATCH OK? ITS VERY GD!!!

I wan to watch e car car (pixar) one... Oh e stupid advertisments lasted for 20 mins, i was so impatient... Aiyo... We watched at PS, then wanted to go Cafe Cartel...

I haf been going to PS n Cafe Cartel so many times for e past 2 mths... But e Q damn long, then we headed to Bishan one...

We both ate steak, and then shared e mudpie dessert... So full... I couldnt sleep last night... But i think due to my lack of sleep i can sleep early tonight leh... Hopefully...

The mudpie was too sweet to my liking... I had a bad headache after all... I think e sugar i consumed equaled to my 6 mths of sugar intake... Gross!!!

Very sweet, but jus too much... I cant take too sweet stuffs...

My entry's kind of strange, i think tts coz i am tired... I cant really type wat i am thinking... Nvm... Besides, i haven eaten anything yet... Going for dinner at 6... Just 1 hr more... No pt eating now...
