I wan to go DUBAI!!!

I am so fasinated by the country... They are called City of the Future... If u look at their projects n development in e next 20 yrs, u'll understand y they r called tt... By far, it's one of e most advanced country i haf seen in Asia...

I am so proud of them...

Some highlights of e country:

1) They sprung out of a desert, not literally of coz... They were a desert, and now still in e midst of desert. Jus 30 mins car ride fr e city, u'll be able to reach e desert, untouched, all natural, reaching e horizon... And u can engage urself in a thrillin four wheel drive ride for e darings... It almosts feels like a bumpy roller coaster...

2) Everyone loves to shop in airprts coz of e duty free gds, well, the whole country is duty-free, tax free... Not tat it really matters to me... But its jus interesting aspect... They haf a market where they sell tax-free GOLD n Jewellry!!! Imagine tat!

3) New Architecture. If u had seen their pictures, travel programs, or e last season of e amazing race, then u'll knoe wat im tokin about... Their new buildings are extremely magnificant n modern... Most famous landmark is e building where Emirates airline shot their TVC, showing an old couple boarding a helicopter on e roof of e building... Surrounding e buildin is e sea... And they flew ard it... E TVC slogan went, "When was e last time, u try something for e 1st time... I wan to go see them myself... Take lots of pictures... I love to see buildings, for those who knoe me, will know i love architecture... Even their best shopping mall is such an eye opener, they had e theme of e Egypt, simply gorgeous...

4) Old Architecture. Some old buildings r still remaining, and it nice to see e contrast of e modern world wif historical religious buildings... E carvings of e walls r simply amazing...

5) Events. E whole yr round, Dubai is e only country filled wif events... One of e most popular is e Shopping Festival, where it attracts about 3million tourists to e country at tat period of time... They haf tis permanent theme park in their central area, wif e ferris wheel, n all e thrillin rides u see fr western countries... And every night, e theme park gives away 2 Lexus!!! And their games store prizes r huge stuffed toys, but they r e nice ones... Not e imitation, ugly kind fr our local Singapore Expo Furfairs Uncle Ringo... Oops, hope he dun sue me...

Oh, funny thing about e fun fair is, they haf booths set up by about 30 over countries, including singapore... Supposed to sell e stuffs fr sg, but guess wat e China-Looking-And-Speaking lady(Singaporean i supposed, thou i suspect shes fr mainland) sells? She sell swords!!! Since when did swords start to represent sg? I dun even see it at our own local souvenier stall at Sentosa... I saw fr one travel show, e host bought a sword fr e booth, e sword is mounted on a board tat has a lion face on e left, n e words "Golden Lion Sword"(in mandarin) on e right. E host was so happy and she mentioned she's so glad to buy something fr Sg. -__________-" I will avoid e booth in shame if im there...

6) Developments. Think tts about wat i wan to say... Lastly, jus take a look at their future developments. E things they r going to built, e kind of technology they haf... It simply put our Marina Barrage to shame, man... Oops, i said something wrong again...

Anyways, finally i saw e "Palm Resort" thingy tat everyone was tokin about already... Oh my god, it simply is jus amazing amazing... Jus case u've never hear it be4, its e most advanced, most anticipated living residence in e world now... E whole residence is built in e midst of e sea, totally exlcusive, private in e shape of a palm tree... 3 to 4-storey landed property, each wif a swimming pool exclsively, and then e beach right at ur doorstep...

E most ex is only 1.5 million Us dollars... Very cheap for e rich, no wonder so many celebrities had already bought it, includin David Beckham... Haha, imagine being neighbours wif him... Not for me of coz, even though i would love to stay there coz of e beach... But bad thing is, if Tsunami hits e place, e whole residence will be gone... But i heard they haf measures for it, well guess i'll jus haf to go there to find out more, so curious... It's not built yet, but if u go there at duno which buildin, u can go see e models, 3d visualisation video, n there will be ppl to explain e detils... Haha, i will act rich if i was to go there to KPO...

But i abit scared of e ppl there, i always fear going to places like India... E ppl there r Indians, or at least Indian looking... Not sure if they r islamic, but their females got to cover fr head to toes... Revealin their eyes only... Nvm, for e 1st time, i can go as a tour grp, then 2nd time free n easy... Lucky thing is they speak English...

Go wif me in e future hor, Shuzhen?

Actually, i had e dream of going Maldives when i get older... I mentioned to Shuzhen be4, i will treat her go there stay when we r older... Its about $1000+ a night for e cheapest... I wan to stay there for a short short time... Always love to stay at e sea, and at Maldives, u do it wif superior luxury n excellent homely services in a breath-taking environment... But then, since most part of it had been wiped out by e evil Tsunami, looks like i may not be able to do so at e resort i wan anymore...

Nvm, im sure it'll be up n warming again in e future... =)
