I dropped dead last night close to 12am, after some blurry sms conversation with Shuzhen... And i woke up 12pm, damn it! I really dropped dead man, coz i set my alarm at 830 am and i totally ignored it!
Good gracious, tonight sure cannot sleep again... But Shuzhen is happy for me, coz i rested well... I dreamt deep last night, a very complicated dream, but everything doesnt work well though... Sigh...
Anyways, my work ended yest late noon, after back n forth back n forth changes, its been 2 mths since the 1st discussion, and suddenly when it ended, my fren told me to go sleep... I couldnt, coz i wanted to sleep early... But i felt very lost, all of a sudden i haf nothing to do... Hah...
But its not ended yet, their bosses had gone overseas, and so they would be back next week to review it, before we seal the project's fate... I hope they dun give me shocking news, if not i am sure i will puke blood tis time... I will tok more about it when the project's ended...
My granny came to Sg on wed, then went to my aunt's place together wif my mum to play mahjong, sigh, gamble again... My mum initially lost $90, then ended the game with $160... Lucky for her...
Then yest, they came back to my house, and today my mum went back to Malaysia with my Granny... I think my mum's happy wif her winnings, coz she even gave me $10 to eat for this 2 days! Haha, so rare of her...
So yest, my big sis n her husband brought us out for dinner... I wanted to eat buffet, but we settled for seafood instead... If they chose to eat Zhu Chao, i would rather stay at home eat maggie mee... Lol...
Then i suggested e famous amk one, but coz we didnt make reservations and we didnt wan to wait 2 hrs, so we settled for Red House... Very ex leh... But i never go before since after when i was a little girl, i couldnt remember abnything... So i go try lor...
Coz they say very gd, then i thot i shouldnt miss it...
Red House after renovation, upstairs got air con... But my family prefer it before reno... I chose air con area, and got to climb the stupid stairs... Then i abit regret, coz my granny very old mah...
Instead e usual peanuts, its honey glazed walnuts wif sesame on the table, how nostalgic, i used to eat them regularly coz its supposed to be gd for ur brains... I saw the receipt, $2.50 for a miserable 2 saucer plates of crushed walnuts, u mus be kidding!!!
My big sis ordered alot alot of food for us... The BBQ Snow Fish tastes especially great, coz it tasted exactly like BBQ Unagi, even the meat n skin tastes similar... The hot n sour soup tastes like shark fin soup, but no black vinegar, sad... The fried baby squids i dun like, never did like squids anyway... The You Tiao is nice, but i also noe how to cook, coz we cook tt at home too...
The chilli crab, though supposed to be famous, didnt taste as gd as told... I thought i was the only one who thought tis way, until my graNNy started copmplaining, then my mum, then i started too... Hahah... Its very hot though, i am someone who takes hot food, but its too hot for me, u can imagine... I also dun like e buns they steamed... The crab meat isnt sweet at all... The butter prawns, i dun like prawns too, so i didnt wan to judge...
We also ordered noodle, but it never came even after we finished everything, even though we told them to serve the noodle 1st, so we cancelled it...
My big sis asked e 1st thing she sat down, "Still same chef, right?"... The waitress said, "Of coz!" ... Same chef our foot!!! Mus be they cut costs due to the renovation... Their services were so terrbile i tell u arh... My big sis was a regular, she complained... And said she will not come here again...
They always said they prefer the old Red House which is inside a kampong hut, but of coz i mus be too small to remember... Haha...
I guess its lidat one lor, when a city becums comercialised... U lose the natural tastes of life... And when a reputable restaurant goes comercialised in a modern city, food's standard always get the cut... But ppl will still blindly go and eat due to its faME...
They said its weird coz the food is good every time they came... So i said, maybe its me lor! And of coz i got a scolding for saying tt! Haha... Seriousy mah, every time i go eat wif them, sure got things happen one...
It was not a satisfying meal, and it costs over $200!!! Oh btw, my big sis, her husband and my mum happen to wear purple yest, so funny... 4 out of 5 got the crab stains... Lucky i wore black, at 1st i wore white coz i scared hot, then i thot, yahor, eat crab sure stain one... Lol... But i am e worst, my crab flew across the table, and it splatted on my face and arms... Hahaha...
Paiseh mah, at restaurant i wasnt really comfortable using my hands...
I would prefer to go AMK one, it cheaper, and more comfortable, coz at coffee shop use hands nvm... The crabs were great!!! The creamy crab, mmmm.... And the tou fu... Mmmm... But hard to get seats... My 2nd sis is a regular there, but usually got to wait like 2 hrs... Wait 1 hr for seats and another for the food... And yet, 10 of them wait willingly... So u mus imagine how gd they are...
But if u cannot wait, they haf thought of it, u can walk across the car park, and settle at the other coffee shop opposite... It was rumours tt they are brothers... So smart!!!
But of oz, u would wan to taste the authentic one...
Okok, enuff of food, makes me hungry...
I haf a date tonight and tmr...
Going to make up and change soon...
My sis is going to Thailand for the weekend... Their tickets hor, $150 only leh!!! SO CEHAP!!! SQ Airline somemore!!! So shoik! She going wif her bf, so gd!!! Got independant bf very good... He knows Thailand very well also...
So i asked Shuzhen to stay overnight at my house tmr...
